Testing of methodology for developing Water heroes

                 The first activity of the water psychology lab was conducted today - a focus group to design and test water conservation guidelines process in schools to be carried out by NED students. In collaboration with the Chemistry Department. The group that managed the FGD included psychologist Shahida Sajid Ali, Kausar Hashmi as moderator, Muqadas Fatima as note taker. Teachers and students of the Chemistry Department participated in the FGD. This part of a larger process of changing the way faculty, students, teachers in schools and schoolchildren think about water.

 

MoU Signing Meeting & Ceremony

Eighth Meeting of Universities for Water Network(UWN) and MoU Signing

        The 8th meeting of the Universities for Water Network (UWN) was held at the Panjwani-Hisaar Water Institute, NED University, bringing together ten universities/institutions from Pakistan and Bangladesh to share their water-related teaching and research.
A key highlight — South Punjab University (SPU), Multan and Agriculture University, Tandojam officially joined the UWN network through MOUs signed at the 7th Karachi International Water Conference (KIWC) and during the meeting.
The next UWN meetings and seminars will be hosted by SPU Multan and Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad — continuing the mission to strengthen academic collaboration for a water-secure future.
